Sunday Mornings offer a couple of different ways for your child to develop their relationship with Christ.
Sunday School classes are offered at 9:30 am. There are classes for ages Pre-K/K thru 5th grade. There is also a nursery available for younger children.
After Sunday School, at 10:30 am, we have Children’s Church in the Fellowship Hall. This is a time of group worship, as well as individual class time.
This January we will be starting a new series called Believe. It will run through mid-March and is shaping up to be an awesome experience for our kids here at FCC. The study involves a lot of hands-on activities and object lessons that are very engaging for young minds!
Wednesday evenings the Joyful Noise Children’s Choir meets to practice, play games and have snacks with their friends. The choir performs once a month in adult worship. They also have the opportunity to preform a few times a year at nursing homes, ringing the bell for Salvation Army and at special community events. Every other year the choir presents a large-scale musical to the congregation. Any child age 4-5th grade is welcome. Choir meets in the J.O.Y. Classroom Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30 pm.
Church camp offers an amazing opportunity each summer for your child to grow in the Lord, as well as make new friends and have some experiences that will stay with them for a lifetime! Camp Illiana in Washington, IN offers camp opportunities for kids ages kindergarten– high school.
Kindergarten age kids start off their camp experience by going one Saturday afternoon (Charlie Brown Camp). This helps to “get their feet wet” and gets them excited about the camp experience. You can find out more about camp and what dates are available for your child to attend this summer at: www.campilliana.org
