Pregnancy Choices Baby Bottle Campaign

The baby bottle campaign for Pregnancy Choices Medical Clinic in Linton runs through October 22. Bottles are available on the table outside church office. Once you have filled up your bottle with your spare change, return to the church. All money goes to help women & men in our community make healthy choices for their babies. For more information pick up a brochure at the table or contact Pregnancy Choices at (812)847-4611.


Open Arms Donations for the rest of 2017

We will be collecting the following items for Open Arms from now until the end of 2017: Miriam Home – Body wash, sheets, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, plastic hangers, laundry baskets, suit cases, toilet paper, pump mousse and hair spray; Foster Care – nice car seats, new socks, new underwear, new pajamas. You can leave your donations in the totes next to the Welcome Center.

We would like to thank Marge Bray and Donna Jenkins for taking care of the flowers outside the front doors, under the canopy and in the courtyard. They do a wonderful job and the flowers are a beautiful addition to the church.

All church members are welcome to attend. No need to bring anything with you.

About 2pm: Professor Gizmos Fun and Science Show

After the picnic families are encouraged to join us in our church Worship Center for Professor Gizmos Fun and Science Show.  
This is a free performance for the children in our community.

OCC Sewing Day

Calling all!! Expert and Novice Seamstress’ call for Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Backpacks!

When? June 17, 2017

Where? First Christian Church Fellowship Hall

FCC’s Sherry Unger will teach the art of making backpacks. Please bring you sewing machine/supplies and come join the fun!! (Material is provided however if you have 100% cotton you would like to share, bring it along; patterns available) This project will focus on sharing the Love of Jesus Christ by teaming up FCC’s next generation in pairs to assist the learning process for this project. These project benefit’s OCC packing party homemade gifts to bless children around the world teaching missionary giving all while building relationships with FCC’s youth.

One question you may ask…What if I don’t have a sewing machine or don’t want to learn to sew but wish to help in some way? Answer-We need volunteers with ironing boards, and irons to help press the material and miscellaneous jobs. No job too small!

Come join the fellowship and fun!!
