Discipleship Points & Rewards

At FCC Sullivan Children's Ministry, our greatest desire isn't for kids to earn prizes—it's for them to grow into a lifelong discipleship walk with Christ.
This month we're excited to launch our new Discipleship Points & Rewards Program! Starting on Sunday, August 9th, 2026, the kids will be able to start earning points.
The purpose of this program is to encourage our kids to spend time in God's Word, memorize Scripture, practice kindness, and develop daily habits that help them grow closer to Jesus.
Kids will have many opportunities to earn points throughout the month by:
Bringing their Bible to church
Attending church and children's ministry activities
Completing Acts of Kindness
Memorizing Scripture
Learning the Books of the Bible, The Fruits of the Spirit & The 10 Commandments.
Sending Bible reading videos (through a parent or guardian)
And more!

These points can be saved and redeemed when our KidsMin Discipleship Store opens at the end of each month. The store will be filled with lots of fun items and items that can help them with their discipleship walk.
August Opportunities Include
Daily Bible Reading Calendar (50 points per day)
- Parents/guardians can send a short video to Donna Wells Brooks through Facebook Messenger.
- The video does not need to include the entire chapter. Simply record your child reading the beginning of the chapter and saying the book and chapter they are reading.
- One video may be submitted each day for 50 points.
- If you have more than one child who is participating, you can send one video with all the kids participating in reading.
Monthly Memory Verses
Children can recite these verses in person to Mrs. Donna or one of our volunteers during August to earn: (Each verse once a month)
1 Timothy 4:12 — 15 points
John 3:16–17 — 40 points
Psalm 25:5 — 15 points
Jonah 2:7 — 15 points
There are many more ways for kids to earn points. Attending activities, bringing Bible to church, reciting The Fruits of the Spirit, The 10 Commandments just to name a few.
Our prayer is that this program helps children discover that spending time with Jesus is the greatest reward of all. We want them to build a strong foundation of faith that will last a lifetime.
